St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat celebrated the birthday of its beloved Principal, Fr. Babu Stephen, with great joy, warmth and enthusiasm on 22nd August 2026. The celebration began in a very special and heartwarming manner as the Principal was escorted by the small children to the programme venue amidst thunderous applause from the students and staff. The entire atmosphere was filled with happiness and excitement. The programme was gracefully compered by Ms. Tina Rani Debbarma. The programme commenced with the Words of Welcome and Appreciation delivered by Fr. K. K. Joseph, the Rector, who warmly greeted and appreciated the birthday celebrant, Fr. Babu Stephen, for his dedicated service, leadership and loving concern for the school community. The cultural programme added colour and grandeur to the celebration. Beautiful and energetic dances performed by the students of Classes VII and VIII made the occasion lively, meaningful and memorable. The students expressed their love and affection for their Principal through their wonderful performances. The cutting of the birthday cake was undoubtedly the highlight of the day. The staff and students joined together in wishing Fr. Babu Stephen a very happy birthday. They also presented him with gifts and beautiful bouquets of flowers as tokens of their love, gratitude and appreciation. In his message, Fr. Babu Stephen expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the students and staff for their love, kindness, greetings and thoughtful gestures. He deeply appreciated the efforts made by everyone to make the celebration so special and memorable. As a gesture of his affection, Fr. Babu distributed sweets to all the students and snacks to the staff. The programme concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks by Ms. Ridhima, who expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful organisation of the celebration. The birthday celebration was indeed a grand and joyful occasion that reflected the deep love, respect and affection of the entire school community for its Principal. The management, staff and students sincerely thank everyone who worked behind the scenes and contributed in different ways to make the birthday celebration of Fr. Babu Stephen truly grand, meaningful and memorable. Once again, the entire St. Xavier’s School family wishes Fr.
