A Drawing Competition for the students of Classes III and IV was successfully organized at St. Xavier's Hr. Sec. School, Pathaliaghat, on 11th July 2026. The programme commenced in the school hall, where the students were briefed about the rules and guidelines of the competition. All the students of Classes III and IV enthusiastically participated in the event. The competition was based on spontaneous drawing, allowing each student to express their creativity by drawing a picture of their own choice and interest. The participants brought their own drawing materials and chart paper. After the instructions, the students assembled on the school assembly ground and began drawing at 10:00 a.m. They completed their artwork by 11:30 a.m. The atmosphere was vibrant and filled with creativity as the children expressed their imagination through colourful drawings. The competition was judged by Mr. Ankan Bhowmik and Ms. Tulsi, who carefully evaluated the drawings on the basis of creativity, originality, neatness, and presentation. The event was efficiently assisted and monitored by the school staff under the guidance of the Principal, ensuring its smooth and successful conduct. The competition was a great success, and the students thoroughly enjoyed participating in it. At the conclusion of the event, Fr. Babu thanked all the students for their enthusiastic participation and expressed his appreciation to the class teachers for preparing and encouraging the students for the competition. The best three drawings from each section—Class III A, Class III B, Class IV A, and Class IV B—were selected and declared the winners. The competition provided a wonderful opportunity for the students to showcase their artistic talents and fostered creativity, confidence, and healthy competition among them.
