St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat, proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of its students in the International Karate Championship 2026, organized by Japan Shito-Ryu Karate-Do International India and supported by Vidyarthi Edu Solutions. The prestigious event was held on 10th May 2026 at Dr. Shyam Prasad Mukherjee Town Hall, Agartala. Three talented students from the school represented the institution with great enthusiasm and discipline. Master Ansh Debbarma (Under 74 Kg category), Master Lalruatfela Molsom (Under 54 Kg category), and Ms. Jina Debbarma (Under 32 Kg category) participated in the championship and brought great honour to the school through their outstanding performances. Master Ansh Debbarma and Master Lalruatfela Molsom emerged as champions in their respective categories, each securing the Gold Medal, while Ms. Jina Debbarma showcased commendable skill and determination to win the Silver Medal. Their achievements stand as a testimony to their dedication, perseverance, and rigorous training. The students were guided and accompanied by their Karate Master, Mr. Indison Debbarma, whose commitment and expert training played a significant role in their success. In recognition of their achievements, the champions were felicitated during the morning assembly at the school. Fr. Babu and Fr. Thomas honoured the students and appreciated their hard work and determination. Fr. Babu expressed his gratitude to the students for bringing laurels to the institution and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence. He also extended heartfelt thanks to Mr. Indison Debbarma for his leadership and tireless efforts in training the students. The entire school community applauded the achievers with great pride and joy. Their success has set an inspiring example for other students, motivating them to pursue excellence in both academics and co-curricular activities.
