St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat, organized a heartwarming and meaningful celebration of Workers’ Day on 6th May 2026. The event was dedicated to appreciating the dedication and hard work of the school’s non-teaching staff and community workers. The programme commenced in the school hall with a brief introduction by Bro. Savio, followed by a prayer led by Sr. Monica. Fr. Babu Stephen, the Principal, delivered the welcome address, expressing heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the tireless efforts of the 25 non-teaching staff members. The celebration was made lively and entertaining with a series of cultural performances by the students. Dances by students of classes VI, VII, and VIII captivated the audience, while a thought-provoking skit by the students of Class XII, under the guidance of Ms. Tulsi, was a highlight of the programme. The celebration was further enriched by a special message from Fr. Rector, which added depth and inspiration to the occasion. As a token of love and appreciation, all non-teaching staff members were felicitated with gifts presented by Fr. Babu Stephen and Fr. Rector. The gesture was received with joy, making the staff feel valued and recognized for their dedication. The event concluded on a warm note with tea and snacks served to all participants, allowing for informal interactions and camaraderie among staff and students.
