GENERAL STAFF MEETING 2026

The General Staff Meeting of St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat was held on 6th March 2026 at 11:30 a.m. in the Principal’s Office. The meeting began with a prayer led by Ms. Priyanka, invoking God’s guidance and blessings upon the deliberations of the staff members. Following the prayer, Fr. Babu, the Principal, extended a warm welcome to all the staff members and briefly introduced the purpose of the meeting. All the staff members were present for the meeting along with Fr. Babu and Fr. Thomas. As the academic year 2025–2026 was drawing to a close, the meeting focused mainly on matters related to the Term II examinations and the preparation of the final results. During the meeting, the staff members discussed at length the smooth conduct of the Term II examinations, the evaluation of answer scripts, and the timely preparation of results. It was decided that the results would be published on 21st March 2026. The teachers were reminded to complete the evaluation of answer papers carefully and within the stipulated time. Another important decision taken during the meeting was that the height and weight of all students should be collected and recorded in their progress reports. The members also agreed that answer scripts would be shown to parents before the official publication of the results, ensuring transparency and better communication with parents. It was further decided that all rank holders would be honoured with medals and certificates in recognition of their academic excellence. The Principal also assured the staff members that there would be an increment in the salary for the academic year 2026–2027, which was received with appreciation by the staff. The meeting also discussed several initiatives and facilities planned for the academic year 2026–2027. Among the important points were the introduction of a student profile system, the implementation of a staff uniform, and the increased use of digital media in the day-to-day teaching-learning process. The members also discussed conducting a Teacher Training Programme in April to enhance the professional skills of the staff. Additionally, a change of uniform for students of Classes IX–XII was also proposed and discussed. The meeting concluded at 12:45 p.m. with a concluding prayer led by Fr. Babu, thanking God for the fruitful discussions and seeking blessings for the successful completion of the academic year.
