The Term II Examinations of St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat commenced on 5th March 2026 and will continue until 16th March 2026. The examinations began with a meaningful and well-organized morning assembly on the first day, setting a serious and focused tone for the days ahead. During the assembly, Fr. Babu Stephen, the Principal, addressed the staff and students. In his message, he encouraged the students to approach their examinations with confidence, honesty, and dedication. He also provided important guidelines regarding discipline, punctuality, and proper conduct during the examinations. Concluding his address, he wished all the students the very best for their exams and encouraged them to give their best efforts. During the same assembly, Fr. Thomas, the Vice-Principal, felicitated the students who had excelled in the Annual Sports Meet of the school. Medals and certificates were distributed to the winners in recognition of their achievements, which added a moment of celebration and motivation before the examinations began. After the assembly, the students dispersed to their respective examination rooms in an orderly manner. The first fifteen minutes of each examination were allotted for reading the question papers carefully and clarifying any doubts with the invigilating teachers. This helped the students to understand the questions properly before beginning their answers. The duration of the examinations varies according to the classes. The examinations for Classes I to VIII are conducted for two hours, while the examinations for Classes IX and XI are conducted for three hours. The classrooms have been well prepared and arranged, providing a calm and conducive atmosphere for the students to write their examinations. In order to maintain fairness and discipline, each examination room consists of a mixture of students from different classes. The constant presence and vigilant supervision of teachers in the examination halls ensure that the examinations are conducted smoothly and that the students remain focused and sincere in writing their papers. The school expresses its sincere gratitude to all the teachers who took the effort to prepare and set the question papers. Special thanks are also due to Mr. Jehova for printing the question papers and arranging the examination files meticulously according to the daily requirements. The management also appreciates the support staff who worked diligently in preparing and arranging the examination files each day.
