A Red-Letter Day: Agreement Signed for Setting Up Composite Lab at St. Xavier’s School, Pathaliaghat It was indeed a red-letter day for St. Xavier's School Pathaliaghat as the institution took a significant leap towards strengthening technology-based skill education for its students. On 26th February 2026, an important agreement was signed between the school and Metabook XR Pvt Ltd for the establishment of a full-fledged Composite Lab on the school campus. The agreement was formally signed in the Principal’s office by Rev. Fr. Babu Stephen, the Principal of the school, and Ms. Rosetta, the representative of the XR company. The partnership has been finalized for a period of five years, commencing from April 2026, marking a long-term commitment to innovation and skill-based education. As per the agreement, a spacious 900 sq. ft. Composite Lab will be set up in the conference hall of the school. The installation and infrastructure development of the lab will begin from March 2026, ensuring that everything is ready for implementation from the academic year 2026–27. This initiative aims to benefit students from Classes III to X by equipping them with modern technological skills and experiential learning opportunities. The Composite Lab will be equipped with advanced and engaging facilities such as Aerodynamics, Drone Technology, Tinkering Lab, VR Skills, Robotics, and STEM DIY modules. These facilities are designed to nurture creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on technical competence among students. The introduction of such a lab reflects the school’s commitment to holistic education and preparing learners for the rapidly evolving technological world. The collaboration with Metabook XR Pvt Ltd signifies a progressive step in integrating innovation into mainstream education. With more and more facilities being added for the overall development of students, St. Xavier’s School, Pathaliaghat continues to uphold its vision of providing quality education that blends academic excellence with practical skill development.
