St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat celebrated its annual Gratitude Day with great joy, devotion, and enthusiasm on 18th December 2025, as a fitting preparation before the Christmas holidays and winter vacation. The celebration was a beautiful expression of thanksgiving to the Lord for His abundant blessings throughout the year. On this joyful occasion, all the students and staff came to school dressed in colourful costumes and their best formal attire, adding vibrancy and festivity to the campus. The students gathered in their respective classrooms along with their class teachers, where the celebration began with the singing of melodious Christmas carols, prayers, and inspiring words of guidance and encouragement shared by the class teachers. Each class organized a fellowship celebration marked by cake cutting and sharing. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with balloons, creating an atmosphere of joy, warmth, and Christmas cheer. Teachers lovingly arranged and served tasty and sumptuous snacks, cakes, sweets, eatables, and beverages. Students thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship as they ate together with their classmates, class teachers, and subject teachers who joined them, strengthening the spirit of unity and togetherness. The celebration was further enriched as students and teachers took group photographs, capturing precious moments and radiating the joy of Christmas. Through prayers and fellowship, everyone expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Lord for His guidance, protection, and blessings received throughout the academic year. Rev. Fr. Babu Stephen, the Principal, visited all the classrooms and shared in the joy of the celebration by interacting with the students and teachers and partaking in the fellowship. He appreciated the efforts of both staff and students and thanked them for making the Gratitude Day a memorable and meaningful celebration.
