St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School Pathaliaghat
As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, a special Open Quiz and Sit and Draw Competition was organized in the school on 31st October 2025 by Gramin Bank, Bishramganj Branch. The event, open to both students and teachers, aimed to promote awareness about banking and related issues among the school community. A team of seven members from the bank, in collaboration with the staff and management of the school, conducted the programme in the afternoon. The session began with a warm welcome address by Fr. K. A. Thomas, who greeted the organizing team and assured every possible support for the smooth and fair conduct of the event. The programme began with the Sit and Draw competition, in which students creatively expressed themes related to vigilance and financial awareness. This was followed by an Open Quiz, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from both teachers and students. The participants impressed everyone with their quick and correct responses, winning several prizes for their prompt answers. The event turned out to be a wonderful and enriching experience for all. The students thoroughly enjoyed being part of the competition, while the organizers from the bank expressed great satisfaction with the discipline, enthusiasm, and active participation of both staff and students. The entire programme was organized with the purpose of creating interest and awareness about banking, financial literacy, and vigilance among the young learners and educators. The school expressed its sincere gratitude to the Gramin Bank authorities for their thoughtful initiative and for conducting such a meaningful programme that contributes to the growth and development of students.
