St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School Pathaliaghat
The much-awaited Inter-House Sports Matches for the academic year 2025–2026 were held on 22nd October 2025 at St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat. The event brought immense excitement and enthusiasm among students and teachers alike as it marked the first inter-house sports competition of the academic year. The matches were organized to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition among the students and also served as a preparation for the upcoming Annual Sports Week. The day-long sporting event witnessed active participation from all four houses — Gandhi, Nehru, Bosco, and Teresa — competing with great energy, unity, and zeal. For the boys, competitions were held in Football and Volleyball, while the girls participated in Throwball. The entire school community gathered in the playground, cheering and supporting their houses with great spirit, creating an atmosphere of joy and excitement. The event was meticulously organized by the core sports team led by Mr. Sailen, Mr. Clinton, Mr. Jehova, Bro. Savio, and Mr. Pradesh, who ensured smooth conduct of every match and fair play throughout the day. In the Throwball (Girls) event, Bosco House emerged as the Champions, followed by Teresa House as the First Runner-Up and Gandhi House as the Second Runner-Up. In the Football (Boys) final, Nehru House clinched the title as the Champions, while Teresa House secured the position of Runner-Up. The event concluded with cheers and celebration as students expressed their joy and sports spirit. Every house showcased determination and teamwork, making the day a grand success. The Principal and teachers appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and congratulated all the participants for their active involvement and discipline. The day truly reflected the Bosconian spirit of unity, enthusiasm, and excellence in sports.
