The Annual School Exhibition 2025 of St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat was held with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation on 31st July 2025, starting from 9:00 AM onwards. The event showcased the creativity, talent, and academic excellence of the students from Nursery to Class XII, attracting a large number of visitors including parents, past pupils, students, teachers, neighbours, and well-wishers from the community. The exhibition commenced with a brief inaugural ceremony in the school premises. The occasion was graced by Mr. Kulandai Swamy, the Principal of St. John’s School, Rio, who was the Chief Guest of the event. Also present were Fr. Babu Stephen, Fr. K.K. Joseph, Fr. Sunny, Fr. Suman, Sr. Rihun, Sr. Theresa, Sr. Jomita, along with teachers, invited guests, and friends of the school. The inaugural function began with a traditional welcome by Fr. Babu Stephen, who honoured the guests with the Tripuri Risa and School Scarf, reflecting the cultural richness and hospitality of the school. Warm and inspiring messages were delivered by Fr. K.K. Joseph and the Chief Guest, who commended the school for its efforts and congratulated the staff and students for organizing such a meaningful event. The Chief Guest then formally declared the Annual Exhibition open. Following the inauguration, all the dignitaries and guests took a tour of the exhibition stalls, interacting with students and appreciating their explanations, innovations, and enthusiasm. The exhibits were spread across various disciplines, featuring science and technology, geography, history, politics, culture, environment, and art and craft. Highlights of the exhibition included: • Dynamic working models and thematic displays on science topics. • Handmade craftworks, traditional tools, cultural attires, and local artifacts. • Models depicting transport systems, monuments, churches, temples, and Indian politics. • Stunning visual representations of flowers, animals, vegetables, and buildings in various colours, shapes, and sizes. Students from the Nursery to Class XII presented their work confidently, and their hard work, creativity, and communication skills were evident in every corner. The exhibition truly turned into a festival of knowledge, creativity, and community spirit. Special mention was made of the tireless efforts of the teachers, who guided and supported the students in preparing and presenting their work. Their dedication, along with the students’ enthusiasm, was deeply appreciated by all who visited. The presence of other guests including Fr. Remol, Fr. Nicholas, Fr. Santreki, and Fr. Juel added further joy and encouragement to the event. In his vote of thanks, Fr. Babu Stephen expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, all the dignitaries, staff, students, and the visiting crowd for making the event a grand success.
