The Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle was celebrated with great joy and reverence at St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat on 3rd July 2025. On this special occasion, the school community also celebrated the feast day of Fr. K.A. Thomas, in whose honour the day held personal significance. The celebration began with the Holy Eucharist in the morning, solemnly presided over by Fr. K.A. Thomas himself. The liturgy was deeply spiritual and prayerful, with the participation of teachers, students, and religious members of the school community. During the Mass, special prayers were offered for Fr. Thomas, invoking God's grace and blessings upon him. After the Eucharistic celebration, a small but meaningful gathering was held in the school premises. The celebration was marked by the singing of festive songs, and the presentation of bouquets, gifts, and cakes as tokens of love and appreciation. It was a joyful and heartwarming occasion, reflecting the close bond shared within the school family. Everyone prayed for Fr. Thomas’ good health and long life, asking the Lord to continue guiding him in his mission and ministry. In response, Fr. Thomas expressed his gratitude to all for their prayers, wishes, and warm gestures. He thanked everyone wholeheartedly for making the day a memorable one.
