St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat, extended a heartfelt and joyous welcome to Rev. Bro. Purnojoy Rupini on his arrival to the school on 11th June 2025 as a teacher and assistant to the hostellers. The school community came together in warmth and gratitude to greet the newly joined Brother during the Morning Assembly held in the school hall. The ceremony began with a formal introduction of Bro. Purnojoy by Fr. K.K. Joseph, who shared a few inspiring words about his background, dedication, and mission as a Salesian. He warmly welcomed Bro. Purnojoy into the Bosconian family, expressing confidence in the positive contribution he will bring to both the academic and residential spheres of the school. As a sign of love and respect, Bro. Purnojoy was presented with a bouquet of fresh flowers, the school scarf, and a traditional Tripuri risa. These tokens symbolized the rich cultural heritage of the region and the inclusive spirit of the school. The students and staff greeted him with cheerful applause and visible enthusiasm, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the life of the school community. Later, during the staff assembly held in the Principal’s office, Rev. Fr. Babu Stephen, the Principal, personally welcomed Bro. Purnojoy and assured him of the support and cooperation of the entire teaching and non-teaching staff. He expressed his joy at the arrival of a committed Salesian educator who will now take the place of Bro. Bankitlang Lyngkhoi, who recently left for Baijalbari after a year of valuable service. The school is overjoyed to receive Rev. Bro. Purnojoy and looks forward to his presence, guidance, and dedicated service in nurturing the young minds of St. Xavier’s.
